Manufacturing and service study

Enclosure fit and access

The selected CAD arrangement is evaluated against explicit tolerance and service assumptions. Rejected alternatives remain in the results.

All observations here are synthetic or theoretical. The 500-row inspection file is generated from bounded inputs and a fixed seed; it is not shop-floor measurement data.

Worst-case fit comparison for calibrated and uncalibrated bend-compensation intervals
Only the declared calibrated interval leaves positive worst-case panel clearance.

Method

Panel gap = 2*clearance - blank_error - 2*flange_error
            - pi*thickness*K_error - panel_width_error

The bound keeps error contributions additive. All 32 sign corners independently recover the same minimum. The 500 synthetic draws demonstrate the implementation inside those bounds; they do not establish production yield. The old post arrangement, larger cable radius and oversized driver fail their specified geometry requirements. Their checks pass because the model correctly rejects them.

The tray sweep holds connector envelopes and posts fixed while translating the tray and electronics upward. The user removes the lid, unplugs the harness and removes four tray screws before lifting; this is not a simulation of removing still-connected wiring.
